150-200hp out of the box on stock cam. 8k price tag. no belt slip and little to no noise or whine, low profile. Basically he said to call them up when it releases, tell them what throttle body you are using, 102mm so on, what you are hooking up to it, i.e vararam, rotofab and they ship it out. one pulley, no rod/cogs. way better design over the old stuff. Also checked out the I-1 variable procharger...that was cool too.

Thank you for the info and reply! Those gains on a stock cam eh? Just means it will get better when the blower cam goes in

I am curious about the noise difference as well. Not sure I'm willing to be the test mule for one of those on a G8 but if it is somewhat quieter than a COG'ed 2300 setup I wouldn't be complaining too much. Trying to keep it somewhat sleeper status.

I also wonder if they would ship it out without injectors since I have some ID850's ready to go on. Figured if I didn't have to spend the extra cash for injectors I'll never use, that will lower the price a bit.

The new ProCharger seems like an interesting setup as well. Can't wait to see both out and installed on our cars!

Black one on the left is the new setup. I saw it mounted in a new Vette. They say its way quieter and the most efficient supercharger ever made. Thanks to Buford for taking the pic, i was too busy drooling over it. you can see the difference between the old cog style and the new setup. i want one so bad lol

The more info and photos, the better! I'm liking the looks of this new one a lot. I could do without the text on the top but hopefully they have a blank option. If not then I guess I can live with it.

Internal shaft looks to be good for those who don't like the sound of the rear cog drive of current generation maggies, however, in highly boosted situations or the case of catastrophy, the internally shafted one looks like it could grenade that much quicker and cause more damage.

It is good that they came out with a vette-offering... there's hardly any wiggle room under a vette hood, and that could easily finance the development costs due to vette owners wanting similar to ZR-1 performance without the pricetag. 8k isn't all that much more than the 6k that the current generation maggies go for when you're spending that much anyways.

The pricing I usually see for new ones are around 6500-6750 for the 1900 and 7500 for the 2300 so I agree 8k isnt outrageous. They aren't exactly giving them away though. haha

So, the rotors are accessible through the top plate? Looks really low profile, anyone know how they plan on keeping the IAT down?

I'd be concerned about the intercooler taking on heat soak from the cylinder heads, but maybe by how it looks there's a precooler for the rotor chamber.

I've never seen anything like it though. Very interesting.

The guy said it was the most efficent supercharger ever made by anyone. He went into some detail about the cooling when we asked about IATs but all i can remember him saying was it was cooler than any other charger option out there other than maybe turbos with a huge cooler.

i asked about the text as well. He said he could take it off, change the color, put your name on it. Whatever you wanted or leave it just flat black with nothing on it. Up to you. I thought that was cool touch.
