Smile Thanksgiving NFL Football Traditions

It's a tradition in my family to eat during the half time or directly after the Cowboys games on Thanksgiving. As far back as I can remember dinner has centered around the game.

This year is a big one as we face the hated Redskins and we are both neck and neck in the division.

Anyone else share this tradition?

Poll added: What game is #1 on your watch radar?

To be honest, no team really affects my team too much. If anything, I have to vote for the Cowboys to lose since they are running for the wild card too.

Cowboys for sure. Unfortunately we eat dinner right before kickoff and chances are high that I will fall asleep during the first quarter.

Poor Bears... And they thought they weren't doing well because of Cutler... Guess yesterday proved that Cutler might have been the only reason why they were doing OK.

We always eat around he Cowboys game. Been that way my whole life. My stepmom has tried twice to start dinner at 5pm when the cowboys were playing the late game and I have refused both times to join her until the game was over, or almost over if my Boys were losing bad.

I never understand why Texans fans hate the Cowboys? We all cheer for the Texans up here as long as they aren't playing the cowboys...

^Agreed, I love watching the Texans play. High powered offense and a smash mouth defense. They are one of the most balanced teams in the league and have a strong chance to get to the Superbowl. <------ Coming from a die hard life long Cowboys fan!

Yeah, not looking too good... I kind of wish the Lions would have won though. They should have been less conservative on their last drive.

Lol yeah that Lions/Texan game was pretty intensive. Good game. Looks like the Cowboys may have a chance.
