New Guy here... From the vette world

Hi,

Recently decided I need to be in a G8 GT. Been dealing with the forum and getting on and being able to post.

So if anyone is looking to do a trade for a C5 Z06 send me a message or respond here!! https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...80k-miles.html

Hoping I can learn some and make the move shortly. Thanks.

Thanks! Went and looked at a 09 G8 GT at a dealer in Orlando, FL.... Asking 17.5k and was ragged out. Covered in dents, buffing compound, dirt, scuffs and had a hole in the seat. Unreal. So luck will be be needed.

Yes, I love my C5Z but the need for a larger trunk and back seat means the vette will go. Hoping I can trade my baby for someone elses baby..

Yea. That doesn't sound like a good one. Its gonna take patience to find the right one. This is a good place to look. It took me 9 months to find the one for me.

Hoping it doesn't take that long but if it does I'm sure the car will be exactly what I'm looking for..

Looking at another tomorrow, 09 with 90k asking 16k.. Seems like its got the hazy headlights, some wear and needs a set of tires. Probably gunna walk away from this one as well.

Welcome, I hope that you can find the perfect one for you! Took me about 7 months to find mine. It sucks at the time, but absolutely worth it looking back. Your vette looks good! I snooped on the forum link you sent us.

Welcome, I'm feeling kind of special only took me one month of looking. Wasn't too terribly picky and IMO got EXTREMELY lucky. Just kept checking Auto-trader and Boom there he was one afternoon. Was on it's way to me less then 8 hours later. Guess there going to be harder to find now that was 4 years ago Monday.

It took me ~3 months to find mine, and the timing worked out perfectly. I sold my VW diesel back to VW on a Tuesday, picked up my G8 on Saturday.

I got lucky too. The guy I bought mine from owned it since 2010, and had a huge stack of service records. The only hitch (which wasn't really that bad)... I went from MD to NC to get mine, and trailered it home.
