Newb from Amarillo TX

Hello everyone just bought a 09 White Hot G8 GT completely stock. As of right now I'm planning on just a CAI and a tune, and maybe a axle back exhaust.

I traded in my TBSS in for the G8, and I'm very impressed on the ride and performance of this car. Cant wait to see the rest of the board.

Thanks
Barrett

Welcome!

I think with an axleback, you'll be able to stretch the pleasure of owning a G8 for quite a while before you start to get into heavier modding.

But whether you want to or not you will start doing heavy modding. lol. The mod bug strikes every time.

Thanks for the welcome. I already have the mod bug. I'm just very limited to what I can do since this is my wifes DD. Right now mine till my Silvy gets out of the body shop from a wreck.
I don't expect much or if any in the way of performance for an axle back exhaust. But when the time come I'm thinking a nice TT kit if not spend a little bit and get a maggie with a nice cam/head swap.

Oh yeah, of course not as far as an axleback goes. I wasn't sure what your experience with cars was. The G8 was my first V8 and adding just the axleback satisfied my for a bit before I needed to get the next mod.
