Guys with CTS-V wheels - what tire pressures are you running front and rear? Are you sticking to the recommended G8 tire pressures (for stock wheels) or are you running something different? I think the sticker on my car says 36 front and 39 rear though I have read in the manual that you can run 36 in the rear with lower cargo loads (under about 570lbs total.) I do not know the recommended pressures for the CTS-V though I'm not sure if it would apply as it is a heavier car and may have a different weight distribution?
FWIW it was a little tough to track down but I think the V2 CTS-V sedan recommended tire pressure is 32 psi front and rear. I have been running 36 and 38 but I think my ride in the rear is a little rougher than it needs to be. I am going to try lowering the pressure... maybe 34psi all around.
True. The fronts are 255/40-19 on a 19x9 wheel and the rears are 285/35-19 on a 19x9.5 wheel.
