Welcome!...and ignore the article. You already love the car (and rightfully so!). Don't listen to anyone who disses the V6. Your enthusiasm is obvious. My god, you made a power point presentation. If that isn't love, what is?! Have fun and enjoy!

Whenever I silence a noise my car is making, another one, that was masked by the first becomes apparent. The only universal repair is to dramatically increase the volume of the radio, purchasing a good aftermarket subwoofer and amp if your car also suffers from as yet undiagnosed clunks or vibrations.

A quick fun story, last night I was in a parking lot, on cold tires, took traction control off, and gunned it, I slid sideways! The surface was flat, and everyone was like omg that was cool. Been unable to recreate it again.

I made a Powerpoint to show all the mods I thought might be good, but here is the short version:
~Roto-Fab Pontiac G8 V6/LY7 Air Intake System
~Trifecta Proformance Chip
~Solo Performance V6 G8 Axle Back
~BREMBO® - GT Series Slotted Brake Kit
~SPYDER® - Black LED Tail Lights
~G8 Aero underbody kit
~WeatherTech® - DigitalFit™ Molded Floor Liners

?GM rear diff assembly?
?Front &or Rear Diffuser?
?headers?
Colour Shifting Halos AAC STYLE... i would like to know more about them.

Thats a rough condensed list of future mods I think seem good. PLEASE drop your thoughts and suggestions and or advise about those or other things. Thank You

Also, Im working on interfacing a double din system for replacing the screen and part of the head unit, when i work out more details I think you guys will find it MUCH better than ugly faceplate replacement and funky hvac screens, etc. Give me a few weeks or so, Ill try to keep you updated. If that fails I have another idea i could start on, but one research project at a time.

as for love, yes a full powerpoint, mods, original part pics and upgraded part pics, i sorta went overboard, but i do love the car so i enjoy editing the powerpoint, and doing research for the head unit.

another couple questions i have, it was sort of explained but would like clarification, how does exhaust, catalytic converters, pipe sizes etc affect torque, hp, and in particular, their range. Gain torque or loose it at different rpms..

How does a pully system work? good for the v6 Ly7?
