Not sure if I could handle the G8 in the winter. I have my beat up Dodge Dakota as my all weather vehicle. THe rain at GONE this year was the first time in 2 years my car has seen rain... Pathetic I know. However I only have 22,800miles on the car I believe.

I'm still waiting for a Zepcom android solution touch screen overlay for the G8. I also just purchased on eBay a HTC Evo 4g LTE.

That was the car I had before the G8! You're gonna love it in the winter. Keep an eye out for the turbo seal leaking.

After I got it home I let it idle for 20 mins it started smoking terrible!! It took 5 miles before it cleaned out!! Since mazda extended the warranty to 7y/70k on the turbo and timing chain issues I think I will take it to the dealer soon

52k and knowing about the warranty were big selling factors to me plus the maintenance records

Oh and the price was 2k less than most dealers wanted for cars with 80-110k

Excellent, you should get a brand new turbo out of that deal then .

If I could afford a MS6 as a second car again, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I'll look around the garage to see if I have any parts leftover. I had quiet a few parts on mine.

What are the signs or symptoms of a loose diff carrier?
I plan on getting it up on jackstands and change all gear oil to synthetic.
I will check those bolts then...
Which bolts come loose diff or body mount?

Thanks for the info

For the time being it will stay stock, but if I get a new turbo and VVT timing chain fixed I plan on keeping this car a long time...So let me know if you have some parts...I would only do mild mods

What kind of MPG did your MS6 get on trips?

I am surprised how many G8 guys used to own MS6's

I looked around quickly, didnt see anything, sorry. Spring cleaning may dig something up though

I can't remember mpg exactly, but I think it was 22ish, pretty heavily modded and tuned with the Cobb AccessPort. I thin it was pretty close to 300 all wheel hp.

I think so many G8 owners come from the MS6 because it was a similar car at to the G8 before its time. It's 4dr, pretty spacious sedan that looked good, handled good, and was sport oriented.

Or we all just have good taste.

Rawyzf you are probably right about MS6 to G8 guys..

When looking for a DD I wanted a smaller sedan. When I was searching and saw my first
MS6 it caught my eye. Then I sat in and drove one and I knew that's what I wanted.

I just applied reverse logic
