Anybody out there from northern Utah. I'd like to know who else on the forums might be in my area. Look forward to hearing from anyone that might be out there.

I'm near the U and in Park City a lot, but mostly driving my winter pig. My friend drives his red GT every day in WVC.

For sure. We meet up once a month or so, and a few of us will be hitting rmr every other Friday night once it opens on April 25'th. I'm down to meet up with you any time and try to answer any questions you have. What color is your car?

Sounds good. Do you currently have any mods, or is it bone stock? Curious what your times are especially if it's stock.

I have my slips from all my runs. I have a slow reaction time but in 2012 I was stock best time was 14.874 in 2013 I put a Vararam CAI on and I was down to 14.764. Both times to me are disappointing I was expecting lower times but I will see what this year brings. Right now I have just the CAI but want to look into a few other things.

So no tune? I was running 14 flat at 100 mph last year. This was with a Rotofab, solo high flow cats, and a vector tune. I'm hoping to be very low 12's or possibly break into 11's with my current setup. I'm trapping 118+ mph now, so my goals should be obtainable with a good 60' time.

I think I'll go at least once this year. I haven't been before, but it sounds kinda fun.

A few years ago I went to apply for a job out there, ended up on a tour of the museum. Pretty much half of the entire Shelby racing history is there. GT40's, rare Cobras, all sorts of cool stuff.

I want to try to take my car out. I want to upgrade the brakes and suspension before I go.

unitofstuff I didn't know they had a museum. Do you know what it cost to go into?

Free as far as I know. There wasn't any sort of event that day, older guy took us around and gave us a bit of a history lesson. He may have been some sort of curator.

I'd like to check it out too. Maybe we could rally a bunch of G's and take a drive out there.

Going out tomorrow to do a full track day. 4 20 minute sessions on the outer loop. So I can have at the 3/4 mile front straight. Should be fun.

Sorry guys I haven't chimed in here in a long time. I'm really glad to know that there are a few of us UT peeps around the boards.

I'm in West Jordan and drive a Bright Red 09 GT. I just completed install of GXP front brembo's from Pace and BMR front and rear sway bars. The car drives much flatter through turns and brakes like a dream now.

Really hoping to break 125 MPH on the front straight at miller tomorrow. Love to have some of you guys come out with me in the future if your interested. Its hard on tires and even harder on brakes. Thus the brembo's.

Jeremy,

09' GT
GXP Front Brembo's, BMR Sway's front and rear, Solo Mach Cat Back, 19" Drag DR37's with Nitto Motivos

I went out to Miller last year for the Utah Grand Prix..it was fun. You get all the attractions include in the entry. We all need to meet up and show people what G's are made of. RMR is getting ready to start up. I seen a blue G8 in Magna this morning. We all need to meet up, show our mods and talk about potential mods I think. I know Morphs is up to it and so am I, is anyone else?

Abrasmile that was probably me. I have a stryker blue g8.

As for my brakes I just got the reman cts-v brembo calipers. Planning on just getting that and suspension all together and doing it all at once.

I am down for meeting up.
