Some of us have kept the DOD delete AND done high horsepower mods. My tuner/installer (G8-4-Speed) says I have the later and better DOD/AFM lifters; mine have been fine now for 94k miles (40k with the supercharger and DOD compatible cam). He kept his as well and has had no issues so far. Some have had problems with the Eaton lifters while others have had problems with the non-DOD lifters as well so I think it's a coin-toss as far as reliability but that's just my impression based on what I've seen and experienced.
