VW dead pedal retrofit

I've been wanting a matching dead pedal to match the sport pedals, I looked and found one from a VW for $24 shipped! I used a dremel to cut the tabs off the back and trim it's mounting point flat so it sits over the OEM black plastic pedal. I used a epoxy stick similar to JB weld to tack it on!:

on to the pics! it's a little bigger than stock:

i trimmed the plastic with a dremmel so it's flat on the left side:

and trimmed the bottom side so it's sorta flat:

just glue it in place (be sure to leave a little space to allow for the floormat to slide under:

BAM!!!!

Thats awesome! Do you have a part number for the VW part, or did you just "wing it"?

Definite improvement. Should be in the appearance section :P Thanks for the part number. Might do this mod myself at some point.

Checked the site I used to shop for most of the parts for the A4 I had - ECSTuning - $43.53 for the pedal in aluminum or $29.95 for stainless steel

Aluminum: http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/1K1_864_551/ES2093720/
