Haha... as a matter of fact, I do. Do you see that slow car on the other side of your time slip? That was me. Pretty humbling when I get down the 1320 thinking I'm in the middle of a good run and then gr8lover flies by me like I'm standing still before I even get to half track... and that's with him spotting me about a .6 lead on the tree! Here's my in car vid. You can see that at least for me, the traction was great... just hard to get an M6 out of the hole since it's hard to slip the clutch like an auto with a stall. I think I gave it a valiant effort with a 1.79 60', but it doesn't compare to gr8lover's 1.56.

Where and why do you guys correct the DA for a better time?

D1sc, Meth, Cts-v fuel pump, 223/235 cam, RCR Heads & intake, obx 1 7/8 headers, custom Corsa axle backs, Circle D 2800, 305/35/19 DRs, and more mods that I can't remember.

Dyno #s TBD
D1sc Best 6/6/14 *hot & muggy*
10.63 @ 132 w 1.69 60ft
P1sc Best 11/24/13
10.36 @ 133 w/ 1.51 60ft.
N/A PB 1/05/13
11.45 @ 120 w/ 1.62 60ft.

It's not always for a better time, it is to show how a certain vehicle would have done at sea level.

I actually learned about it on THIS FORUM. Here is the link to the DA Calculator. Very simple, enter the Track/Day/Time and your time slip ET and it will calculate the difference based on the DA

http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

I'm fine with my 12.99, just showing the corrected time to compare to others who do the exact same thing. Notice the "corrected time" is NOT in my signature.

I didn't mean to offend, I was just wondering because Ive seen some other members use it. I never knew where they found the DA calculator or how it worked to correct a time.

Nobody accepts corrected times as actual times but its a good 'what if' tool.
