I have been 11.65 @118.55 and 11.69 @119.2 two seperate weekends, DA +500/+600
2600 stall, DoD cam, 1.85 rockers, H/C/I, 3.45 gears, Headers&exhaust, full street trim and street tires. With drag radials I am sure it would go 11.50's if I could get the 60 ft in the 1.60's. Went 1.7X's with street tires prepped.

I ran 11.8@120mph with a modded LS3 (my L76 got destroyed) I put down 435rwhp. This was with 3.27 gears also. So basically a gxp powertrain without the suspension setup. Looking to go 11.6 or 11.7 now with coilovers and anew cam (broken lifter took out cam).

Don't complain about life, if you do, try death, nobody has complained yet.

I am no Challenger to this game, I don't go Chargering away, and it is more than just ponies in this beast.

Dumb question potentially, but does suspension affect 1/4 mile time? I am all stock except trailing arms.

I got to get me some radials. I've yet to get my 60 below a 1.9 spins like crazy. I'm positive I have a 11.5 pass in the car. It made to much not to And a lot of torque

Spinning or not, that mph needs to be 116 for what you have. Even if you spin out of the hole and the shifts your mph should be better.

If you are referring to the time in my sig, then that is my old motor. I make 60-70 more hp and a crap load of torque. So that's why I think I should be able to pull a 11.50

Stock G8 GT cubic inches NA I went 11.31

Bone stock G8 GT block with only boltons landsarmstrong went 11.95

Those are the two fastest times I know of for cam/heads and boltons for the 6.0L.

Just another 9 second family car...

I can tell you right now that 11.31 time N/A stock cubes is going to be hard to beat! Best I have been able to do is 11.8 with a 1.6 60'. Since then discovered the top end was trashed (bought the car already built). Had the whole top end rebuilt plus had the heads done and installed one piece driveshaft and 3600 circle D triple disk stall. Was still stock bottom end. Went to Commerce Dragway to see what she would do and cylinder 7 broke due to rod bolt stretching at 1/8 mile. How do I know that is when it happened, because that is when it started backfiring bad. Rebuilding bottom end now, all forged to hold a lot of horsepower.

Bottom line, I believe 11.31 N/A stock cubes is going to stand for awhile. To get this car to hook on even drag radials is tough on these bad prepped tracks!

Just living the dream! Building a G8 GXP with a big naturally aspirated full weight loud pedal my uncle in heaven would have been proud to be a passenger in. Spartan Performance Built!

might go down this weekend. Me and dctG8 (dustin) are going to to the track on Saturday. He will be kicking it in the ass that's for sure. We are looking at mineshaft air Saturday, so a great DA is on tap. He will also be testing out his drag pack for the first time. Last time he went 11.5 so it should be interesting...
