New Personal best in my GXP! *Video added!!*

Welp, got the time slip I wanted. Ran three times. Car ran great, and Im very satisfied with it's performance. Only complaint so far is the wimpy clutch GM went with the the M6 GXP. Oh well. Here you go....

1st run I spun pretty bad and went 13.2@111.8 mph 2.3 60ft

2nd run I hooked, and was late on the throttle once I felt it hook and went 12.8@111.5 2.0 60ft

3rd run I hot lapped it and hooked rather well. Stabbed the throttle without hesitation and went 12.6@111.1 1.9 60ft

Mods are

My own tune using HPT
275/40/17 Nitto NT555R DRs
2010 Camaro intake tube

Track elevation: 1,273
D.A at the time of my run: 1,830 ft

Oh yea, and ya gotta dig my reaction time.

Video to my best run...

You beat my high expectations of you by two tenths, well done. Especially considering the DA. Want to take a trip to Cali and suck in some of that sea level/negative DA goodness?

BTW, that's as fast as Flu has run his Mustang out here in that DA. 2012 5.0 A6 w/ CAI/ORX/Catback/Tune. According to the Interwebz, your near stock GXP is as quick as the fastest car in the world (or so were told).

Great runs Fly.

car looks sweet. congrats on the runs..

do yourself a favor and build a 416 stroker now and save yourself the next couple years of "hemming and hawing" with rinky-tink mods.. you'll end up there or with a maggie anyway lol

G8'less for now!!

Thanks Nate! I felt the car was going to perform very well after the tune, but didn't want to get my hopes up. She's a completely different animal now. The car just doesn't feel so heavy anymore. I've only put 368 miles on her since I bought her and Im already addicted. My CTS-V was a lot faster, but I really love this car for how rare and well built it is. Much better built car than my CTS-V was.

Thanks guys. I've driven the car more and learning to drive it better now. I'm going back to the track on December 29th. We are expecting D.A to be under 1,200 ft, so with that, and better driving, I'm hoping to crack 12.4s. After I crack low 12s, I'm going to start with headers and a VCM intake.
