Has anyone made a whipple work on a G8

Im trying to plan out the build i wanna do on my car. Has anyone put the 2.9l Whipple Supercharger on a G8 and made it work? im thinking with a Stingray Z hood it would be easily doable.

There are several You Tube vids from Australia where they have done them. Takes a good size scoop to clear it. Vid I saw made 714 HP

I have seen somewhere someone fabricating the vette LS3 kit to work but as mentioned the hood is the problem, wonder if you can lower then engine a bit by modifying the engine mounts and then getting a cowl hood I dunno but I'd love a kenne belle
