based on the title id say this is the best place to ask this question, im also looking to get a good cam possibly without having to do DOD delete and with retaining the stock stall, basically i want some more power but dont have time to pull the heads etc. all efforts to contact who i thought were the right people have been ignored, or at least i havent gotten a response. also had a tuning question which is related to the cam swap, once the new cam is in, if im going to tune out the DOD/AFM anyway would it make a difference if i didnt get a DOD cam? im extremely familiar with cars and engines etc but never had to deal with modding something that has AFM type setup. any info could help or some contact info...something, please? thanks in advance
If you want to retain DOD but want to cam up, Rick Crawford will be the best person for you to talk to. I know he stays very busy but pm'ing him or emailing him would probably be the best route to take.
