Udp

I know what kind of gains can be had as in power, but that doesnt matter if it doesnt make a difference in your times...even though it does have other benefits.

What have you guys gained in your 1/4 mile times with the udp? a tenth?

Do you need to tune for it to get the full advantage?

Not tune is needed. I just put the SLP under drive pulley on and with my mods it's was well worth the money IMO.

ive never heard of any tuning needed for a ud pulley, since basically all it does is just free up some of the load off the crank. The only common problem is power draw issues from those that run alot of electronics and thirsty sound systems.

I know a udp is beneficial but I'd love to see some real world data showing proof of just how much there is to be gained.

exactly, sure they dyno more, and rev easier, but i would rather see a difference in time than saying hey i gained 10hp off of this and wasted my money. unless i had the wobble from the oem one, then it would be worth it regardless.

You won't notice it. Period. Only buy one to replace the poor quality stocker or because you are specifically modding your car for speed and don't mind dumping money into it.

I have the Powerbond 25% UDP. Only bought it because of the crappy stock one.

Going to be trading in my G8 in January or February, 2013. It's been a good run. Thanks all. See you in the for-sale section soon as I pawn off some parts...

Butt dyno = not a thing. Placebo effect. But hey, if you're happy with yours, cool.
