tried the flex hose ,as seen on tv product

So ,got this as a gift ,so no money loss. It's probably not called flex hose ,I don't have the package in front of me . It's supposed to stretch to a longer length ,this one is 50 feet as you turn on water and contract when you turn it off. It does do that and its light weight but the plastic end, the female end doesn't want to screw in proper and I don't want to strip it. I had turned it as far as I could till it stopped and of course its leaking do to that . I had to wrench it off when I was done . Kinda wonder if the material its made of will hold up or if its gonna puncture .this would be a better item if it didn't have plastic ends . Unless I got a bad one in terms of the female end not fitting. It doesn't looked stripped. Any one else try it yet ?

Can't exactly say I'd recommend this. Only used it once so far.
