BMR Fabrication Strut Tower Brace for the Pontiac G8


Eliminate tower deflection and improve handling in your new Pontiac G8 with a Strut Tower Brace from BMR Fabrication. These braces are constructed from 1-¼” diameter x .120 wall DOM steel and 3/16” CNC laser cut steel plates. The Strut Tower Brace (STB012) uses existing holes to mount in the engine bay (http://www.g8board.com/forums/showthread.php?p=153833#), so there is no need to remove the struts or make any permanent modifications to the car during installation. This is truly a bolt-in piece. These strut tower braces are formed to the contours of the covers in the G8 engine bay for enhanced cosmetic appeal. Available in black hammertone or red powdercoat finishes.

Love it!! I will definitely be picking one of these up for this season. I notice that you have 2 colors. Is there any possibility at all of paying extra for a custom color? I really love the red, but I am afraid it would not look right in the IOM engine bay and Black wont catch the eye which I want. Regardless, I am still interested and hope to order soon.

One other question, any clearance concerns with aftermarket Engine covers? I have the Roto-Fab as seen in my sig. I'm guessing not b/c they are smaller than the stck cover I think, but just want to be sure.

We do have an un coated option for $15 less the price. As far as the engine cover goes we have not had anyone run into problems with one yet. Just the superchargers getting in the way :cool:
