Wanted to start up a thread to see if there was a interest in a GTG.

Here's what I've found.

Cars and Coffee™ Charlotte launched December 6, 2008. Cars and Coffee™ Charlotte is a monthly gathering of auto enthusiasts from 9:00am - 11:00am where proud drivers from the greater Charlotte area and beyond will congregate to kick tires and have a cup of coffee. There will be something for everyone to enjoy; classics, exotics, concepts, hotrods, motorcycles and motor-sport. And it's all free, minus the coffee of course.

Join us on the first Saturday of every month (weather permitting) from 9:00am to 11:00am at North Lake Mall (I-77 Ext 18) Panera Bread Co. at 6801 Northlake Mall Drive, Charlotte NC 28216. Come out and support Charlotte's own car meet, make some new friends, hang out for awhile, and see some amazing cars.

i am going to try and make it up in the next few months. this sounds really cool...excited to see what poeple have done with there g8's

If you all welcome GTO owners I'm there. I think a joint Carolina Goat Herd/G8 Owners meet up might be fun. I've lost touch with everyone and would like the chance to catch up. I think Cars and Coffee might be a good place to start, if everyone is game I can drop a post to the regional LS2GTO board and we could try to carve out a Holden section there. Thoughts?

I'm thinking bout going to C&C in Charlotte August 1st, anyone else?

GTG Bump!

Anyone want to meet at the dyno for a dyno day? It has to be on the weekend for most, sorry weekend workers (day off?). I'm sure many would like to know where they are with current mods. The guys at my local dyno will probably be down. I'm going to talk to them about it this Friday. I'll see about renting the dyno for a cooled weather Fall Saturday, (or sooner depending on feedback)? I suggest my local dyno (border of NC and SC, Carrowinds Exit 90 I77) because there is plenty of parking space on dark blacktop. If there is another dyno you would prefer, please post it up.

Got some preliminary pricing.

12 cars, 50 bucks a car. That's more than I was expecting, so I'm guessing that is renting for the entire day? I'll find out more week from Saturday and post. Last time I was there, 6 runs, 60 bucks.

You can count me in Shawn depending on what saturday/sunday and what month.
