VEGTS 03-02-2008, 06:00 AM Hi guys just came across your forum & can see you guys are as exited as we were when the release of the ve was due. Here are some pics of my 06 Ve HSV GTS. 6.0 lt supercharged, running on 22" rims, Walkinshaw bonnet scoop & putting out over 550bhp. A work in progress as its in tomorrow for a full 3" twin system,1 & 3/4" pacemaker headers, high flow cats & a re-tune to i hope, over 600bhp.

VEGTS 03-03-2008, 05:19 AM Thanks i think? Harrop 122 blower. Tried to put a phone clip of the gts the day the blower was fitted but didnt work ill try again. In the clip you can hear a slow gear change as we didnt know what the auto was going to do with a **** load of torque, so it was easy does it for the first couple of days. Then it was on for young & old. After a couple of boxes i hope this current box & its lastest program it will handle just a little more power. Ive been told its life span can be extended if the right program is done to suit the cars performance. ie; Torque control and the like. Its so hard not to drive it flat out every day ,every klm. Its just a beast. If anyone knows of any performance, hard parts for the 6l80e please let me know. Why stop at 400rwkw if the only weak point can be eliminated?

Hey, you're driving on the wrong side of the street!!!
VEGTS 03-08-2008, 07:47 AM Well got close to where i wanted. 388rwkw. This car is a bullet. Cant do any more unless i upgrade the fuel system, I think over 500bhp will do for a while.......NOT
GigaHz 03-08-2008, 08:06 AM Was that hood required or is it just for looks? How do those 22's ride? I think They would be too much for me.
VEGTS 03-11-2008, 07:32 AM Hood is a working reverse vented scoop. You dont need it but i like the look & the practicality. The ride in the GTS is rough to start with as the suspension has mrc ,so its track or sport. Not to mention 20" wheels as std. The 22s ride a little rougher but i like the rough/agressive drive.
God I have such a fetish for whiners!!!
Love the car, I hope/plan to put a blower on whatever I get (gt or gxp). The Harpos are way to much $$$ imo.
I hope to need a bulge in my hood too, this would coincide greatly with the bulge I would have in my pants.
I haven't decided if 22's are too big yet. But they don't look 1/2 bad on your car.
Laxnut 03-17-2008, 11:27 PM Surprised to see you have 22's on there. Nice, but seems like they would hold you back a tad.
Thing is bad ass though. Can't wait for more to come over here
