Hello fellow G8er's!

Sellers Auto Sport is a new division of Sellers Buick-Pontiac-GMC and has a very unique dealership experience to offer you!

We are a full service dealership offering everything from sales to service and everything in between including our new Auto Sport division. Couple this with SAE certified master technicians doing the install work and you've begun to just scratch the surface of what Sellers Auto Sport will offer!

Look for sellers Auto Sport to be a regular aftermarket sponsor here very soon as we complete our new transition.

Our new vehicle sales side has plenty to offer the G8 enthusiast as well. We stock a large range of G8's at the lowest possible prices as we are well aware you guys and gals know what programs are available on them many times at the same time we learn about them.

We are consistently in the top volume Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealers in the country (We finished #4 in 2008) due to our fantastic staff and by following our motto; "Reputation is Everything!"

We look forward to serving the G8 community on both fronts and if we can be of service to you please let us know!

SellersAutoSport

Yes, we were getting a billion PM's to run VIS requests on everyones car and just dont have the time to support that. Apparently this board has user to user email turned off which I didnt notice when we turned PM's off. I just turned them back on, our phone number however still works :)

what are some of the GM accessories that you'll be offering, and non-GM accessories. and what will those do to our warranties?

SellersAutoSport
03-05-2009, 08:27 AM
We offer the full line of GM accessories plus the full gamut of non GM stuff, tuning/intakes/exhaust ect. Under Magnuson Moss the installation wont do anything to your warranty and we are being very mindful of this when it comes to our product selection.

We have quite a few in stock and they are selling very well, call Diana Dickow at 248-478-8000 for current inventory, I believe we have about 10 of them or so on the ground. We also have a tuned/intake equipped M6 demo as well if you are interested in seeing what a huge change a few small mods can make.

I've been searching for a black on black, manual, w/ sunroof in the SE MI area and can't seem to find one. Looks like I may have to wait for the next allocation. :-( boo!

I believe we have one, we have a ton of GXP's right now (even though they are selling like hotcakes for some reason ;)) Contact Diana Dickow at 248-478-8000 to verify and get pricing info.

I am grom the Grand Blanc (Flint) area. I am very interested in adding an intake and an exhaust like i had on my 2001 grand prix. I am also thinking about a tune. If i come to your dealership and have an intake installed and then get a tune (probably from Vector), will you still service any problems with my vehicle under warranty? Or is it a big deal if i get a tune? Im not sure my dealership here in Grand Blanc does not seem to be willing to allow me to do any mods without voiding the warranty.

It's pretty cool to see Sellers posting in here! I like the idea of moving toward a 'tuner shop' as well as being the regular dealer. But informally, Sellers has been doing this for a while already. They installed a set of shorty headers on my 1995 Formula a few years back and did a great job with it. I've also bought several new Pontiacs from Sellers, and it was a great experience every time! Sellers rocks :driving:

And don't forget we need a Camaro to do a Final Fit on. These are taking up too much space in my office.

I would like to thanks Sellers and Sellers Autosport for giving me a great new car purchase experience. Earlier in the week I purchased a GXP and had Autosport install a CAI and tune(thanks for talking me into it, Chris). This car is bad ass!!

Hey guys-
I stopped in at Sellers today to have some service performed, since I was in the area - and they took care of rotating the prop-shaft while I wait! My selling dealer would not have done this... I wish I would have bought my car from these guys!

While I was there the service consultant asked me if I'm interested in getting the car tuned with a CAI installed here at the dealership - "Here at the dealership"? WTF are you talking about is what I told this guy - That's when I was introduced to Chris White - What a pleasant surprise!!!!!! I spent about 1/2 an hour shooting the **** with this guy and that's when I realized that I probably made a mistake in getting my tune somewhere else.

Long story short Sellers/Chris White is doing some serious work on these vehicles and although I have yet to purchase anything from them - I am confident that I will be in the near future. Very professional organization and I'm very happy to see that it's being done by a GM dealership!

Sellers has outstanding service with a no pressure approach to selling that works. What a great experience overall. I talked with Chris White too. I can wait to get my CAI and tune. I will be back for repeat business for sure. Thank you (Tony S. was my salesman) for the gorgeous PSM GXP.

Chris,

On my way home last night I found a speedway with 100 octane unleaded Cam2 racing fuel. I put just under 9 gallons of that in the car and hopefully we should be good to go now. I will still go easy on her with this tank and I am going to install the Roto Fab this weekend. When do you suggest pulling the ecm fuse, after the roto fab and my next fill up of 93? There's no problem running the 87 octane mixed with the 100 octane is there?

Thanks,
Bryan

I won't speak for Chris about the tune, but the 100 and 87 will 'blend' just fine until your next tank of 93.

Thanks for the reassurance JusticePete. Chris mentioned something about a Pedders Day that might be happening in the next month or so. Is there any kind of deals or anything like that at those Pedders Days? I am really interested in upgrading the suspension but my budget of roughly $1000 (including install) doesn't seem to go too far...

We were just talking about a date and there should be an announcement soon. Our Camaro sales volume has been really really good -- knock on wood. It has been amazing to us internally. We are having similar success with other platforms increasing our volume to levels we did not expect to reach for some time. With volume comes economies of manufacturing scale. Your dollar will go further than you think. We are releasing another pre-order for the Camaro Xa coilovers. It won't be as low as the December Dollar Days pricing, but it will be lower than you expect $1,449.99. We originally priced the Xa for the Camaro well over $2K. The every day price is coming down to something like $1,799 for no other reason that the Camaro community is buying so many of them. This helps the G8 guys as there is a pre-order setup for the G8 $1,449.99 (https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au/peddersusa/Default.aspx?ProdCode=160064) supported by Camaro volume.

Contact Chris to get yours on order.

Pete,

I saw on your site that you have some drag bushing packages. The level 2 which I believe was roughly $750 plus install looked to have quite a few of the things I think I'm looking for. I want to stabalize the car some more and to have it feel like it's holding it's line better while driving and for it just to feel like a tighter car while driving without screwing up how it rides. What exactly would the level 2 package do to the G8, driving and feel wise? Also, I couldn't find the level 3 package, do you guys have one?

Thanks,
Bryan

Bryan,

The Basic (https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au/peddersusa/Default.aspx?ProdCode=G8DRAGBUSHPACK) Drag (https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au/peddersusa/Default.aspx?ProdCode=G8DRAGBUSHPACK) is what we consider the Drag I. It addresses the most glaring G8 weakness, the OEM sub-frame bushes, differential and lack of castor adjustment.

Drag II (https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au/peddersusa/Default.aspx?ProdCode=G8DRAGBUSHKIT2)increases the number of rear bushes to make certain that every available Rear Wheel Pony goes to the rear tires and is not lost in overly compliant bushes.

Drag III = Drag eXtreme (https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au/peddersusa/Default.aspx?ProdCode=G8DRAGEXTPACK) includes far more and covers dampers and coils. The rear ride height goes up along with coil rate. This is a pretty serious drag package that will hustle you down the strip faster, but will not be the optimum setup for doing twisties.

Pete,

Would you recommend the drag I or II to help make the G8 feel a little bit more secure for a daily driver and to help make it feel a little bit more tight driving through twisties? I was originally thinking of getting the Street1 but then I saw the dragII...
