I went to the motor show today. For the first time in a long time I was excited about the prospect. So was half of Melbourne, it seems, as it was busier that I have ever seen it !



Unfortunately, some photo opportunities were just not possible, but here's some of what I got.



First the Coupe 60. It is BEAUTIFUL. It looked far more impressive to my eye than the Camaro shown last year. It looked more production ready too.

Next, the HSV W427. This is MUCH better looking in the flesh, the wheels are polished chrome on the angle and brushed on the face, the professional shots made them look black & white.

I really liked the red lip on the wheels - reminds me of the redline tyres they used to put on the original Monaro in the 60's.

Coupe 60 looks much larger than in the press pics, especially from the back. Very nice looking car, that should gain a quick following as a GTO here in the states! As long as they don't screwup the Pontification of it!:thumbsup:
