So grabbin a bite today from a local mcdonalds... i know I know... but I'm dying anyway!

standing in line minding my own buisness when I notice the highschool has just got out for lunch. (easy to tell cause they are all going a good 20 MPH over the speed limit.)

a white 3000GT VR-4 parks next to my G8 and a bunch of high school kids unload. The driver keeps eyeing my car like it's a peice of meat. (easy fella, the fake meat is in here I kept thinking to myself)

when he walks in he looks at me and states "nice car" I give him the same compliment but before I could finish saying "nice..." his jughead friend pipes up... "to bad it's a slow 6"

I lol a little bit on the inside and say, "yep terribly slow not compared to that slow 6 sitting next to me"

I get a "whatever dude, you have no idea what kind of car that is do you?"

I just shrug and say it doesn't matter since I have a high output V6 (lawl)

Then the idiot kid says the all to keen line "huh... wanna put some money on it?"

"sure, hows $100.00?" I shoot back

he cawks his head sideways and returns, "sure thing, I got the cash right here"

So we head out of town to "the track"

... Now a decently modded, good driver could have had a chance. anything running over 12 PSI would have a hell of a shot... but just by looking at the kid driving it and the fact the stock mufflers were still attached gave me a clue he was bone stock and only pushing 6 psi.

his buddy who owes me money starts us off and I jump a good 2 lengths. I continue to pull up to about 100 mph leaving this guy way way back.

I got paid. I went to lunch, now I'm taking the rest of my money to the hardware store to put into my house...

Taking advantage of kids is funny, especially stupid kids, especially for money. He taught them a valuable life lesson, don't fcuk with people/**** you don't know.

It's true... I have many o stories over the years. Sometimes I have the best luck. and most of the time I have the worst.

One thing I have learned is if your going to stretch your stories the internet is the worst place to do it, and there are two reasons for it.


1. People can find out anything on the internet, if someone has said something once and some "dude" that wants to make himself look really awesome on the net (:slap:) repeats it, people will know.

and;

2. trust me, I'm much more awesome in real life then in the computer lawl :bs:... just kidding.

but in all seriousness stop calling it a "hero" story. I was actually trying to rant /shrug

Do we have a taker? And yes, its an SRT6 Crossfire (there is no other SRT6). I can't ever get anyone to go either. I'm always seem to be driving my Corolla when all the good kills are around. Word of warning tho, I will be posting your kill here.:driving:

Don't get me wrong. a Little forced induction can really make a lighter car quick.

The one thing I didn't like about the srt-6 is the fact they supercharged it instead of doing a twin turbo setup. only so much you can do with that blower before needing a new one.

On the other hand, 13.3 bone stock is something, in my opinion, drool worthy!

Thats the problem we are running into with these cars as far as being limited by the factory SC. Nobody makes an aftermarket SC or TT so theres really nowhere to go other than nitrous. This car would be a total beast with TT. I'm curious to test my car against a modded G8 on the top end.

search for an srt-6 kill thread, it may be in drag racing. they're a great run for a stock G8GT.
