So I'm trying to figure out hypothetically that I f I started out with an LS2 motor in my 2007 coupe, then I added L92 heads and an L76 Intake, (I already put in a 224/228 cam before that) would it be considered an L76 motor?

No. A L76 has AFM and less power than an LS2.

To go into more detail, The l76 has 10.4 comp ratio pistons , and the ls2 has 10.9. The L76 also has a different cam for the AFM system. There are probably other minor differences. The l76 without AFM is an L98.

Well the stock L92 heads were milled to raise the compression. The cam is changed so it wouldnt make a difference. Isnt the L76 a 6.0 aluminum block with L92 heads and a L76 intake?

The "L76" engine is the new combo that many LS2 Corvettes are doing now.
So yes, its a LS2 bottom (6.0) with LS3 cylinder heads; also called L92 heads. Since the shape of the intake are rectangular in form, not cathedral like LS2, they use a LS3 Intake Manifold also called the L76 intake manifold.

Here's an older thread. This guy with a corvette LS2 engine with a performance 224/228 cam is making 462rwhp & 435 rwtq with an L76 Intake and L92 Heads.

Cammed with over 400 H & 400 T is my daily driver dream! :)
