I love mine too!! Except for the paintjob being a little thin in spots and the couple of times it went into safety mode for no reason, it has been a great car!! That is why I will probably wait for a Gator GXP because anything less than the best available, would be a let down. I could hang onto the Goat for a couple more years!!....and be satisfied.:D

Ditto. I think it makes all us GTO guys swell with pride to see Holden coming over here with another ass-kicker. They build oustanding cars and they deserve all the success in the world.

I still wish GM could give us the answer to the BILLION DOLLAR question.

Q. Why can't GM build awsome cars like this here :banghead: ? ? ? ? ?

HOLDEN has been doing it right for years down under. I'm also tired of hearing all the BS about our GTO's. I still get people asking is that a GXP or Grand Prix. GM also needs to learn the "ART" of advertising. In Australia they actually have commercials featuring the cars they build ......HHHMMMM ...... what a great idea.

Thank god for the Monaro / GTO - I'll be counting the hours until my G8 6-SPEED gets parked next to the GOAT - Thank You HOLDEN

I don't own one myself but reading around the GTO forums it seems that the problem is probably with faulty 'fly by wire' throttle sensors. They need to be replaced, but not with the same part number, but with an improved version that has a different part number. If I could remember where I read that I would point you there as this guy sounded like a bit of a GTO guru.

Holden Commodores aren't the only good cars GM builds. Have you driven a new Corvette, and how about another RWD/AWD sedan, the CTS? That new CTS appears to be the import fighter GM should have done in the first place, if they only knew how. Pretty impressive, based on the show car.

Yeah, I know about the gas pedal problem and mine may need to be replaced, but it hasn't acted up lately..... and there is a possibility that the SAFETY MODE thing showed up because of my dynotune.

If it happens again, to the shop it goes.

GM is making some great stuff now. The Saturn Aura is nicer than any Camry IMHO and you get a lot of options for just a little over 20 thousand. The General is coming back strong and if CEO Rick Waggoner plays his cards right, he may go down in history as the man that saved GM. I am very excited about the Zeta platform and the future of it. When they start up the Oshawa plant in about a year, we could see a whole bunch of cool cars.

The Malibu makes the Camry look second rate. MAlibu is a great car for the broad market.
