Since the Holden VE is the australian version of the G8 i looked up performance parts for the VE and found SS Inductions Growler Cold Air Induction. It s a replacement box for the stock air box. Claims to get gains of up to 12rwkw. Thats 16HP! Worth a try. Its on ebay (search: VE v6 intake) for $315.

Growler and the Big "Y" The OTR requires a MAF less tune as it does notr use a MAF. Don't know if we couls get away with that here .

Nope, def. couldn't. I will be sure to true out a Big "Y" when I get some extra $$ for it.

If lucky, I may try to find someone local that can fit one up for me. Thus, save the triple digit shipping costs.

The Big "Y" basically turns one intake into two, correct?
