Hey everyone new to the G8 forum, I recently got a new LY7 G8.
Through out this year I wanted to build up an engine to swap out the V6 for close to the end of this year/beginning of next year.
I know the LS3 with the Corvette 6L80 tranny is in the new GXP, I was thinking possibly using a T-56 like those used in the GTO combo'd with the LS2?
Would this require cutting (I would think the GXP being the same body housing the LS3/6L80 would mean that the LS2 and T56 would work without cutting into anything under the hood)?
What else would be needed to get the project started?
