Pontiac G8. Derived from a new, global rear-wheel-drive platform shared with the Holden Commodore sedan from GM of Australia. The Holden-produced Pontiac GTO didn't light any fires, so why is G8 different? It has a sophisticated performance suspension and is powered by a 3.6-liter, 261-horsepower V-6 or 6-liter, 362-h.p. V-8. On sale here in first-quarter 2008. Will share a platform similar to the coming Chevy Camaro, as will other RWD entries GM has planned.

I never liked his articles, and I'm surprised his tune has changed so much with the G8.

...well, he kind of is saying that the GTO failed so the G8 probably will also. Also, I sense he does not think much of Holden and is taking a pot shot at them.

Like, "What is GM thinking, Holden didn't do it for us with the GTO...now this?"

BUT, I could be reading more than there really is...lol.

Either way, mehhhhhh...everyone has an opinion.
