Pontiac G8. Derived from a new, global rear-wheel-drive platform shared with the Holden Commodore sedan from GM of Australia. The Holden-produced Pontiac GTO didn't light any fires, so why is G8 different? It has a sophisticated performance suspension and is powered by a 3.6-liter, 261-horsepower V-6 or 6-liter, 362-h.p. V-8. On sale here in first-quarter 2008. Will share a platform similar to the coming Chevy Camaro, as will other RWD entries GM has planned.
I never liked his articles, and I'm surprised his tune has changed so much with the G8.
