Yeah, I think Scion did something similar. But it's better than just showing it with glowing blue crap flying around it.


And as others have said, it's the name of the kid that owns it. Would've been funny if it said "Bob" for Bob Lutz.

That's pretty cool ad I like it a lot! I think the only way to really "plus it" though would be to have some engine sounds in there.... but maybe that's a different ad.

It is certainly better than the GTO commercials which I NEVER saw! And way better than the 2004 Grand Prix commercial that had a blind guy driving the car around the desert. What was THAT all about???:damnyou::dunno::huh:

Your avitar ain't bad neither! I hold out hope that the actual G8 car looks better than every photo I have seen. And I have to admit, when I first saw the GTO in 2004, it didn't do much for me, but as time moved on and I started to look at the competition...Mustang :wall: the GTO looked better and better. Today, the comments about boring bland styling on the GOAT just roll off my back and I have gotten to the point where I almost pity the folks who still make those comments. I just assume they are part of the great clueless and uninformed masses. :burnout::aus_flag::wiggle:

I've seen all of the national TV ads for the GTO. When Pontiac moved their advertisements to SPEED network (when the GTO.Rs started racing), I didn't see them anymore.
