Tonight in Chicago, (for those who know the area). North side at the strange intersection of Ashland and Armitage near the Metra Stop and Best Buy. I 'm getting off the highway and I'm trying to make the light. I go to make a left turn but I turn too hard the car Drifts on me.
It was also during the later part of rush hour.
It was the coolest feeling and the scariest too. Got the car under control and got out of there fast. Needless to say I'm now afraid of my GT and I think I need to respect that 361/385 combo even more

Something like that happened to me the first week I owned my GTO. After that I learned to ease up on the throttle during turns.

You must learn the Force before you can use it, Luke. :gr_jest:

First time the back end broke away when the rear brakes locked up (on my old coupe, live axle, coil springs, disc brakes front/drums rear) when I was braking on a wet surface in prep for a right angled turn it scared the beejesus out of me - happened only once again since then but at least the second time I knew what I did wrong. Anyway, you have my sympathy!

It would probably be a good idea for everyone to play with the G8 a litle bit and see where the limits are in bad conditions. Find a vacant parking lot some place and have some fun. Especialy those who may not be familar with driving powerful rear wheel drive cars. Its better to make a mistake there than at a crowded intersection. Izayn, I fell your pain and I'm glad you and your ride were unharmed.

After i modded my 06 C6 and did a A6 tune with TM removed i found out how easy it can be to lose it. High power cars can get away from ya in a hurry.
