Hi: Well this the weekend that my friend is finally able to decide about either spending $16,000 to buy-back his '05 Accord(with 120,000km's) or spending about $31,700 for a G-8 1SB pkg.(With a 5/160,000 GMPP+ Fabric protect/paint protect). Going on Saturday afternoon to a west end dealer(Where we know the owner from buying 3 Grand Prix's over the last 8 yrs) to have his wife(new driver she just got back from Brazil)check out the car,if she is ok driving it then on Monday taking the Honda to a mechanic that we know quite well and if anything is wrong(or will be soon) with the Accord will be going right to the Pontiac dealer to buy the G-8. Will be getting either Pacific Slate or you guessed it Black or Red. We'll see how it turns out as in this economy $15,000+(for a new car) is not chump change,take care and hope everyone has a great weekend.:)

Hi: My buddy today went to his mechanic who drained the tranny and told my friend the fluid was black:( in fact showed us the drain plug which was totally black and had a few metal filings on it! This is almost certainly the beginning of tranny troubles with his Accord(other than the tranny issue the Accord was in great shape) , so he then called Honda Finance will likely be buying a G-8 just wanted to prove to himself that Honda was totally inflexible(which they were so he is going to spend the $16,000 more for the G-8!!!! So Tuesday morning off to the Pontiac dealer here in Toronto(west end)to buy the G-8 either 1SB or 1SD Thanks for all your guys help will update Tuesday to tell what color was purchased/package etc.
