Hey Guys,
Caste Hill Exhaust Centre in Australia are developing a OTR Intake for the V6.
Info here: http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=78161&highlight=alloytec
This one was created for the previous model Commodore.
It was tested on the base V6 (175kw) not the 195kw motor which the G8 has.
I thought i would post it up for reference.
Text taken from the thread:
ok finally got it tested,
shes not pretty but it is only a test unit,
our normal 175kw test mule filled with what ever 91 octane unleaded the owner could get cheap
190rwhp with stock intake, car has previously made 191rwhp so close enough for me,
199.1 after the intake, 200+rwhp is there for the taking with some more time spend on the tune,
only draw back of these is you will need a custom tune to use the intake as the maf gets a little freaked out and the maf table needs a lot of work,
production will start shortly and should be ready in around 3 weeks time
Car was tested on 91 RON Fuel.
