Nothing better to do on a sunny Saturday so I drove out there to drool over the new Camaros waiting to be shipped out. As I was driving around the plant I found these 2 beauties.

Awsome Pics, I can't wait to check out a new camaro, I stopped by my dealership yesterday for an oil change and t check out a couple g8's. I spoke with a cool salesman and we started talking abou the camaro. He said that they only have 1 preorder so far (small dealership) and hav 4 more allocated in the next comming weeks. He should have one on the show room in a few weeks. Can't wait.

My dealer said he had herd that the GXP's were not coming to Canada but had received nothing official from GM and has 1 GXP on order.

If you look in the background of the pic with the red one you can see several wrecked vehicles, I wonder if this is where GM Canada does their crash tests.

I talked to someone at GM and found out about the GXPs. There are 4 of them coming to Canada. They are being brought in for validation only. The GXP is not for sale in Canada. Not sure if the G8 will be around for 2010 or not either. I wanted to get my hands on one of the GXPs but I was told it would be highly unlikely. Hence, the GT (which I still love).

P.S. The rims look nice don't they?

I was driving on the 401 westbound near Westney Road in Ajax the other night and a red GXP passed me with private (i.e. non dealer or manufacturer) plates on it. I gave chase and got a good look and it was definatley a true GXP, and given the plates I figured this had to be privatley owned. Maybe it was actually the one pictured above that I saw, whoever it was they were hauling ass.

My Question:I would just like to know if I will be able to buy a Pontiac G8 GXP in Canada?
