: What's Onstar Turn-by-turn NAV? BlackPearlG8 02-09-2007, 04:28 PM The Pontiac site reports standard Onstar with available tutn by turn Nav. Is that the Onstar lady yacking at me? I just wanted regular map nav like I have in the Jeep!:soapbox: nixapatfan 02-09-2007, 05:22 PM Turn by turn basically downloads a set of instructions to the car and then reads them back when you need to change course. It uses the built in GPS to keep track of where you are going. It's actually a very nice feature because you don't have to worry about entering in all the info while you sit on the side of the highway, you just tell a real person where you want to go, if you get lost you get to talk to someone. Only downsides are no visual screen and you have to pay a monthly fee but that's really not a downside because it'll take you a long time to make up the cost of a NAV screen unit. On star directions are the economy way to go.
