Does anyone know if someone is making the clear front end protection yet for the G-8? I'm looking at a black one and I don't want the front end to get chipped up from highway driving

Xpel.com says theirs is in the Design Process.

I talked to a friend at the Ferrari/Maserati dealership and the clear film they put on the front of the Quattroporte costs about $2K. Yikes !

I have a chip on the hood already. I need to find a bra for this.

I am having a clear bra put on my black on black Loaded GT this Wednesday. The dealer where I purchased has a specialty shop that custom installs them on Corvettes, Porshe, Lexus and BMW's. They are guaranteed for 5 years, nicks, cuts and rock damage. Regular price was $999, but since mine was the first G8 GT, I got it for $699. The installation covers entire front nose, up to the bottom of the hood scoops, light lenses, and backside of door mirrors. I do quite a bit of highway driving so I had to get one to protect my car. A regular vinyl bra for sports cars cost $250+. So for a few more $$ for unseen protection was worth the investment for me.

Anyone who lives in socal, the California Tint Shop will put a clear bra on for only $520.
