Check Surgenor Pontiac (895 St. Laurent Blvd). I was talking to them about the charcol one they have on their lot back on Monday. It was there then. Don't know about now though. It's still listed on autotrader if you wanted to look at it.

Just got back from Surgenor. The car has the Premium and Sport packages, has 14,000 km and they want $32,000 for it. It's in good but not perfect shape. I think the price is high.

Well - I think I might be the only one in Canada with a GXP. Bought it in Texas and shipped it up....picked it up last night. I test drove the GT, but missed the stick. And all I can say is....wow. It is a nuts car.

I found another GT just 2 streets away that is the twin to my MGM even with my chrome grills and 6.0L V8 badging.
Everytime I pass by his house I wonder what my car is doing in his driveway. :)

I know every Sat there is a old car meet at the parking lot in Ajax Canadian Tire. I know the 300 and chargers meet there lately. Started for them last year.

I bought my 09 G8GT last April and aside from the $1.20 washer mod she is bone stock. The Solo exhausts have caught my eye... so we shall see. :)

I also want to add that I've been suffering withdrawl symptoms ever since I put the car in storage for the winter. :banghead:

Anyway, I'm picking up my black G8 GT Saturday (6th) and I can't wait. I just registered yesterday and this is my first post. I browsed this site a lot as a guest and did more research on this purchase/vehicle than on anything I've EVER bought. I'm very excited and even though I've enjoyed quite a few test drives, I'm looking forward to my first REAL drive. I'm also looking forward to chatting it up with everyone and getting advice on all things G8!

First up: winter tires, tint, any recalls or common problems I should be looking for right away?

I've seen one G8 like your in my travels. It was early in the morning. I'm always on the road for 5:30am.

Windsor here. They have a red G8 GXP at Andre Lanoue's in Chatham 6spd manual, red, no sunroof very nice. I wish they brought it over here new.

I too have a PBM GT, but the one on Ritson I'm talking about is a burgundy GT south of Rossland on the east side.

I always see an older woman in a PBM G8 in London, not sure on the trim, but doubt she will ever be on here lol. Also, another PBM but a GT for sure, as he sped past me while I was in the turning lane??

I saw that PBM with the older lady driving just yesterday! It is a GT, which struck me as somewhat funny because she did NOT look like the average driver of a car like that :).

There is a PBM GT with large (likely 20") chrome wheels in East London that I've seen being driven by an older man. Is that the one that sped past you?

Possibly, I wasn't really looking, just saw as he floored it past me, while I'm not moving.

I am still here. I traded in my metallic red G8 but I am glad to say that I traded it for a loaded white G8 GT. I loved my old car but I must say I love the new one even more:). I took it for a test drive and fell in love with it, it only had 32,000km on it and I kept going back making the same offer until they got tired of me coming around I think and sold it to me. It had sat for a while and the dealer said there was lots of people looking and lots of kids that couldn't afford it. People were afraid of the gas mileage and the rear wheel drive in the winter. I am now looking forward to doing a few mods to it and getting a little bit more power.

I bought it at Myers on Baseline Rd. They were great to deal with. Drove back to Toronto along Hwy 7 - had a beautiful sunny day for the drive. Had a perma-grin for about a week.

Good guys at Myers but the service department is just OK. I had them looking for a G8 for me along with a couple of other dealers and they just never called me back. Must not have thought I was serious...

About 3 weeks later I heard it was still there so I went back in the next week and made them the same offer. Once again they came back with an offer that I still thought was to high so I held my ground and told them it was my final offer. He went inside then came out and shook my hand and said we had a deal.
He kept telling me how great a car it was and I kept telling him how great mine was too and it only had 24,000km's on it and that they would not have a problem selling it with the V6 plus it was in perfect condition.
I am very happy with the car, I absolutely loved my old one but I must say I like this one even more!

There are a lot of insanely-priced G8 GTs in Ontario right now: it's like dealers are asking tomorrow's collector car prices for today's collector cars, and that's just not the way it works (or is supposed to work).

I've seen a 4,000 km car in black, admittedly loaded, for over $40k. Sure, mileage-wise, it's basically new, but in reality it's still a three year old, USED car!

Another guy has a highly-modified car, complete with Maggie, for $54k :drink: . I apologize if that is anyone's car on the board, but all of the stickers on the side of it (including a Call of Duty sticker, WTF?) really ruin the clean lines of the car. That, and the price tag would be enough to scare anyone off!

Yeah, they wanted basically 30K for the car. It was (is!) a beautiful example of one of these, and I recall the mileage being around 28K, so that's great too. Glad you held out until they finally agreed to sell it to you for a reasonable price.

Before I bought mine I test drove a liquid red GT demo that had 12,000 km on the clock. The dealership wanted almost full sticker. Give me a friggin break! It's a used car no matter how they wanted to spin it.
