I know there are a couple in St. Louis. There was (emphasis on was, don't know if still there) a Black GT with Premium and Sport packages at Behlmann on N 270.

Also, spotted a Red GT yesterday in Collinsville haulin' rump in the rain.

Laura Pontiac in Collinsville is supposed to get a Red one, but that may be the one I saw. Forgot the name, but the dealer in Belleville (Rte 15) is supposed to get (or already got) a White GT.

As an update, I went by Laura Pontiac in Collinsville, and they still have their red one, so the one I saw driving on the road wasn't theirs, but it's speculated that it came from Brockland in Cahokia, IL.

The red one Laura has is number 608. He offered me the keys to drive, but I didn't want to put more miles than it already had since I wasn't going to buy it. BTW, there is a "Market Adjustment" of $2,000. Ugh.

Anyway, I still love the look of it. However, I was a bit disappointed in that it's almost identical to my wife's Magnum in exterior dimensions, but it is less roomy inside. I was afraid that the steering wheel wouldn't come up and out from the dash as far, and I was right. Maybe I need to have another sitting, but it feels lower than my GTO.

That being said, I don't know if a 6m will be in my future, but we'll see once the GXPs hit the lot and I can give one of those a sitting.

Suntrup in St Peters has a Red one. If I recall correctly it lists for $32 and some change.

Test drove one over the weekend at Sinclair, a red one. Salesman seem more the Buick salesman than a Pontiac salesman. Felt like my grandpa was in the car and would yell at me if I opened it up. Didn't know much about the car either. "The V6 is a 3.8L V6". I don't blame the guy. That dealership to me seems to always have had an older client base and have only picked up Pontiac in the last year from Bommorito down the street. Might just need to hire the right people to sell the Pontiacs.

Like the car enough to drive over to Brockman in Illinois and test drive from them (a white one) with a younger salesman. Tom at Lou Fusz was also very helpfull over the phone and if he is still there when I am ready to buy my 09, I will be buying from him (provided the price is right).

I will have to check it out. Stopped by Behlman up in hazelwood this morning. They just got in a magnetic grey gt with a sunroof. They also had the spoiler off of it because it was damaged during shipping. I see a spoiler delete in my future!

DAMN, I was in St Louis for 2 days and I wanted to go by Bommarito. I was at the Science & Tech museum and then headed to South County mail and I had planned to stop, but said hell with it. I figured they would not have any on the lot. I bought my last GP from them.

Is it just me or do these dealers know nothing? While I was at bommarito the salesman told me the GM has no plans of ever producing g8's with manuals. I just about busted out laughing. Didnt even go into the fact that I might be waiting for the gxp to come out. The first salesman out there that knows anything about the g8 will be the one to get my business...

The guy I talked to knew about the forthcoming GXP, but not much else... said there were going to be minor changes... but was pretty adamant that it was not going to have the LS3.

Was that the red one in the show room without the sunroof? They had another red GT that had the sunroof. I test drove the GT with the sunroof. Just curious. I bought my white GT from them on the spot after driving the red one a little over a week ago.

I bought my GTO from them without haggle or issue for MSRP at a time when dealers were adding $5k - $7k in "fair market value adjustment". I did it over the phone/fax, came down the next week, finalized and brought my car home.

My salesman Fred (I think that was his name), calls me about once a year, (not just sends a postcard) asking me how the car is.
