Finally got to the track and got in two good runs.

Here is my best run and I hit the rev limiter (I was trying to push it a bit from my previous run) on my 1->2 shift.

Traction was very bad but I was surprised to be able to get a 1.873 60' footer.

I also have a Livernois cam but tuned/installed it myself. I need to update my sig.

Why be skeptical? these cars run 13.0s with a tune and he's got some significant mods and a converter(which is a huge difference...) Hell I think he would have run 12.30-12.40s without the cam...

On some good tires he will be close to 11s.

Good runs I wanted to see you run but I had to go to work right after my last pass, to highoctane that is one of the slowest tracks in MD there are 4 tracks within 1 hr of me slowest being 75-80, next capitol, Cecil county and MIR is fastest

Ya considering im on streets, track was ****, and it was my frist time at a track, tires at 39psi and 60ft at 2 plus.. Guess that has something to with it. 117 btw

Exactly, theres your problem, street tires and 39psi...you should drop those times with lower tire pressure and more seat time. 117mph is knocking on the 11.9-12.0 door. Drag radials will get you there, and slicks without question.

Ya thats what i get for being a noob. If the weather clears for this saturday ill be back out again running the pressure in the 20s. O and et streets should be on there way sometime this week :)

If that was your first time at a track, you will improve a lot. My G8 brought me to the track for the first time ever, now I am hooked..... Man, you get the rubber, and you will easily be in the 11's. You gotta love these cams.

I had several people come up and ask how much I was spraying. One guy didn't believe me when I said I wasn't.

Yeah it sounds like it is going to be fun. He mentioned it the other day. I am trying to see if I can get out there.

Nice times! How in the hell are you getting 1.8's on the stock all season tires with all your mods?!

What tire pressure are you running in the back? RPMs at launch?

Are you sure you're not launching in 2nd gear? :)
