OK fellow Pontiac and car enthusiasts, let's go together to the next Cars and Coffee San Diego at the San Diego Automotive Museum parking lot. Last time it was great! Every kind of car. We brought 3 G8s and a GTO, this time we need more! In order to park together we have to get there early. It starts at 7 am and goes to 9 am. It's best if we get there about 6:40. If you want to meet us there, don't park yet, lurk on the side of the road and wait for the others so we can parade in and park together. For those who want to meet early and cruise together, I'll be at Jack Harrison Pontiac, Buick, GMC at 6 am and we can leave about 6:30 at the latest. I should be able to make it, though not sure if I can do three weekends' worth of G8-related things in a row. I've got the Haddad BBQ this weekend, the Cars and Coffee the following weekend, and Street Legal Drags on May 2.

But, I'll definitely make a good effort to make this one.

It's a nice trip in a G8, plus it's San Diego. After the show's over around 9 am, you can enjoy Balboa Park. The Automotive Museum has a Hot Rods featured right now. The Carousel and miniature train ride near the Zoo entrance is cool too. If you want to see the outdoor Pipe Organ performance it's every Sunday at 2 pm and there's a huge amount of stuff including the Reuben H. Fleet Center with Imax, Science, Kids exhibits and things to do too. http://www.balboapark.org/in-the-park/organizations.php?catID=5 It's perfect for the family. I take my boys there often.

Eh, I seriously am thinking about coming. The 4am part is one thing holding me back, the other is my finace who laughed when I told him I was thinking about driving to san diego for a car show that starts at 7am.

And Wickedmom, last week, I got the kids up after 5am so we could make it up to Inglewood early enough. Just put 'em to bed early. :)

I know it's a trek for the San Diego folks, but you might want to try to make a Street Legal Drags in Fontana in the coming months. I'm going to be there this Saturday to get another set of timeslips. :driving:
