Pics look like it retains the MAF. Looks to be a good setup, price is high especially with what the dollar is doing right now.

Hell I'd make my own before paying 800 for that one... It's a nice looking kit though!
I'm sure there will be some American companies producing some in the next few months...

I wasn't trying to get them business, just trying to show people what is out there, now that people are getting G8's in their hands and will be looking to mod.
I'm sure New Era and Volant will have parts ready sooner than later (In the $400 price range).

try harrop engineering in australia
You can make your own kit for 100 bucks. I'd also be conserned with the bend in the pipe. That's going to inhibit some air flow.

That intake bend is not inhibiting airflow. Sure it isn't as direct as something that would be right behind the grille, but that setup is very well designed. They also have another CAI on that page, that is not "stealth".

be warned that making your own CAI might make your g8 run worse..the computer is very sensitive to changes...without a retune u might run worse

I would be looking to do the CAI and the VMS tune the same day. Hopefully I can get mine on their dyno, instead of mail order.
