I found this place and I am planning on going this Saturday. If everyone is in, then lets meet up somewhere and roll in together. Or, just meet there. What do you think???


Manassas, VA Cruise-in at the Rt. 234 Bypass/Rt. 28 Burger King (http://www.capitalcruisin.com/manassasbk.html) (10991 Nokesville Rd) every Saturday night from March through October (weather permitting) from around 4 to 11 pm. Sponsored by the Bull Run Street Rods. Street Rods, ProStreet, Cobras, Muscle Cars and Street Machines...it's all here! On nice nights there are sometimes 300+ cars in attendance, making it Northern Virginia's largest Cruise-in! Make sure to go inside, grab a burger and see the "Wall of Fame," pictures (http://www.capitalcruisin.com/manassasbk.html) of many of the cars which have cruised the BK.

How about the Manassas Mall / JC Penney parking lot? At 6pm? We'll roll out at 6:30.

I've been there a few times. Man, there are some REALLY sweet rides there. Unfortunately I have plans with the family at 4pm...I might be able to swing by later on in the evening/night though. I live about 3 miles from that Burger King.

No problem, I havent gotten the Dyno Tune yet so it hasnt reached its power potential yet. You can definitely listen as well as take a look under the hood.

I'm tempted. I'll have just completed the exhaust and intake upgrade and Saturday would be a good day to try out the new setup with a foray into Manassas. Maybe...

Glad to see more g8 owners near by. I'm occupied today but i'd love to try another time. Considering cai, exaust and tune and would love to see and hear anyones advice and results.

Hey Guys, I am a little late reporting in; however, I will not be able to make this week's run and I will be out of town next week, so perhaps I can make it in May. I have a Hot White GXP (still stock) but looking to see what everyone has done to theirs. I am not that much into drag/street racing; but looking to do some circuit track work after some mods.

:hail:GXP!!!! You DEFENITELY need to bring it out next time!!!! This cruise is most show only with no street racing.

Guys, and lady.....It was an awesome night!! We will do this again soon. I'll keep every posted on a date. Or, if anyone else what's to start the next, go ahead. For those that were not there, we had 5 G8 GTs that showed. 2 Panther Black, 2 Pacific Slate and 1 Sport Red. Not including the one that decided to go though the drive thru and keep going (sorry, but you should have at least stop to say "hey"). There was already 2 GTOs there that were really nice. I'll let every know about the next one.

Good time... It was nice meeting you all. The only thing I'd suggest is next time we show-up alittle earlier so we can park in the same place. As for the GXPs, we hope to see you next time.

Side note, Its a good thing we left when we did. The ricers were showing up in force. Had some kid in a turbo'ed Mazda Protoge try to instigate on 28 headed to 66. No way I was getting into that b/c I know that cops are all over the place around that time. Plus there was a bike in front of us and traffic all around. Feakin kids :rolleyes:

Yeah, I agree on the earlier time. It's a good thing you didn't "play". PW County has been out in force on 234/PWC Parkway.

Even while we were still there you could hear them (ricers) getting restless. Maybe they had just come from a showing of Fast and Furious.

Not yet. The guy said he'd send it by mail, so I should see it this week.... Hopefully.

It was really great meeting some follow G8 owners. I think an earlier meet next time is the way to go. The ricer crowd that comes in later has been a problem for years. Gets worse in the summer months. That's why most of the muscle car owners start leaving right around 7PM. Anyway, some beautiful cars in that lot. Look forward to the next meet.

It was a great time and meeting earlier would be a great thing! I did notice the ricer crowd showing up and getting silly, but overall it was nice to see all the nice rides and meeting local G8ers.

No worries. I'm looking at another one around mid May. I'm hoping we can get some of you GXP owners out as well. Stay tuned and I'll start a new thread when I figure out an exact date/time.
