I ran 12.4 with LOTs of wheel spin... Im looking into the Pedders spring/strut setup (have alittle wheel hop too). After the suspension I would like to try a good STREET tire, its cool to run REALLY fast on street tires. Drive to the track and drive home.

Get some Drag Radials. I think people run MT DR's. I had nittos on my mustang that worked great but I dont think they come in the right size for the g8's.

I have the new Eagle GT tires and they hookup very well on the street, much better than the crappy Potenzas. They also have excellent wet traction and get me thru the snow just fine, they're a great all around tire.

I think a well rounded tire for street/track would be great. I do have a bad habbit of hitting the gas to hard.

I have 19inch rims and nitto invo's on my car....very good sticky tire...and if you plan on running at island again expect wheel spin on any street tire on your setup....track prep is the worst...when you goin back again? we gotta meet up there.

I'm from paramus....I will have my car back next week...went out for a cam and is coming back with a cam and ported heads lol...so hopefully in the next couple weeks i'll be going.

Well down here I would get the NT555RII, it's always hot down here so it should be sticky. I don't know what type of treadwear you want though. INVOs are good all around except in snow I would guess.

No 19 inch DRs. You need to go 17 or 18 inch. I'm in the same boat. My car ran a 12.9 at 114 today. No traction for the first 1/8 mile.
