I am new to the post and I just wanted to say that, I drove the G8 GT yesterday, and loved it. I bought it and I pick it up Monday. It is one of the 888, and my # is 11. Sweet!!!!!!!

I'm in Northeast Ohio, I took delivery of my G8-GT last friday.I bought the Magnetic Gray Mettalic, smooth looking color. My Salesman told me that I bought the first one that the dealership sold, And I bought the first one that was sold in the Cleveland area.When I'm on the road I get a lot of second looks, I guess most people are trying to figure out what kind of car it is. The one thing that I would change is that it is too quiet. I loved the exhaust tunes that I got from my 2005 GXP.:yumyum:

This is my first V8 so I also thought it would be louder, but quiet can be good too. I've been getting those same looks and had a police officer back up & go back and forth around it in a parking lot for 5 minutes the first night I bought it :)

Thanks. Sims Buick in Euclid also got a Gray G8 GT (it arrived on March 18), but I don't think it has been sold yet. I am still waiting on my Gray GT with the sport package.
So that'll be at least 3 gray G8s we'll be seeing around the Cleveland area...

I was hoping all this "quiet" talk meant it was about the same level as the GXP. Apparently not. I think that's about right for a v8 family sports car type without being over the top.

I saw one sold on Wednesday.

This is the only car that I have ever purchased that I didn't drive before I bought it. I guess thats how sure I was that I knew I really wanted it.

I saw two G8's (one black GT, one red V6) at Morris PBG in North Ridgeville over the weekend. They were already closed when i got there, but they looked awesome. I have a black G6 GT coupe now and am counting the days until my lease is up...

so i have a question. The G6 is my first lease, how does it work when i get closer to the end of the lease? is there a way to get out early? will they give me a discount on another pontiac (G8?)

Hey fellow Michiganders/Great Lakes comrades! Well - I could go on and on about I was the first order of the dealers yet the 3rd to actually get mine due to logistics that were out of my control and how when the dealer DID finally get it in on Friday and by the time I arrived (why did I decide to work a full day?) they had lost power and couldn't do ANYTHING except let me drive it around for awhile. Needless to say I was pretty excited/disappointed on Friday but was FINALLY able to pick it up yesterday from Sawyer's Pontiac in Lansing. Great people. My mom has bought over a dozen cars from them so they took extra care of me. They also hooked me up with a 3' x 2' poster that they got at one of their training days. It's basically the same picture that's on the brocure but bigger and "badder" - AND it's the Panther Black one, which is what I got. My wife got it framed for me and was in the trunk when I went to pick it up. It's beautiful!!

I just got mine & I love it. I need to run it stock at Stanton, MI. But then a Vector Motorsports Performance Tune, CAI, & Stolen Fox H Pipe & Magnaflow axle back exhaust should make it that much better!
