I had them remove the mid mufffler and resonator and fab up an H-pipe. I can tell NO difference in sound. sounds totally stock. i just wanted a little more sound, at least it probably opened up a few horsies. I didn't want to have to replace the mufflers, but damn, it's so quiet!

Recommendations on the quietest aftermarket mufflers? I will do a search real quick, but recommendations are welcomed.

Some people call it getto but I tried the washer mod the other day and I really like it. Its not a huge rumble or anything but just enough for me to know when its accutually started up.

Think about a Corsa cat back system, with a lot of other exhausts you may be sorry you did them because of excess drone inside the car.

my problem is that i have a baby on the way and cannot go loud. i looked up some exhausts online and the corsa sounds pretty mean. I definately do not want drone either. I may dynamat the hell out of the floorboard and trunk area to help that out though. the flowmaster 3 chamber sounded pretty tame as well as a stolenfox i saw on youtube.

flowmaster has to be the worst system for drone EVER... I had one in my Trans am and it sounded great, but cruising between 70 and 80 on the interstate for more than an hour and you are tone deaf for at least 2 after you get out... avoid flowmaster if you don't want drone. I'm going corsa sounds good and less drone than most

Go with Corsa. If you want just mufflers, get the dB red series. There will be some drone with those, but not as bad as most axle backs. If you can spring for a cat back, Corsa's is pricey but has no drone.

Or go with a Magnaflow, Pypes or SLP and eventually remove one of those only to end up with the Corsa.

I installed the pypes axle-back. Sounds much better than stock. There is some drone...so I go faster that's all. The pypes is about 100 bucks less than the slp and and about 200 less than the kooks. The slp is only pipe. At least the pypes has a bit of muffler.
