Today I went and test drove an 888 at Paul Masse in Woonsocket RI. I'm so damned impressed with it. I was able to beat on it for a few miles and loved it. I had no problem fitting in any of the seats and I'm 6'2". The GT feels like it has so much power and it does compared to my old car a 225HP 3000GT. So after I did the test drive I bought one, just not the one I drove, I wanted a sunroof. So I got a Red GT with the Premium and Sport package plus the sunroof and paid MSRP. I'm excited now I just need to wait up to two weeks for the car to show up at the dealer.

Congratulations! I think you were smart to wait. While the 888's are hot right now, I think in a few years 888's will only be an interesting footnote in Pontiac history. They are very few GM limited production vehicles recently that are very collectible.
