TJay74 05-01-2009, 10:04 AM Well shoot, i was hoping the rebate would go up. My local dealer has a deal on the rebates, if it increases with 30 days of purchase they match the new difference.
T-Type 05-01-2009, 10:15 AM This may be a dumb question but is that in addition to the $3500 I've seen or is this how they got to that $3500 number?
Are there any dealer certs available? I'm thinking about a second one.

you'd imagine they'd let us stack the 3500 off and 0%

That is the $3500 rebate being posted everywhere. BTW, there are no dumb questions.

No certs yet that I know of. I will keep an eye out for this program.

Are these rebates applied before or after tax is applied?
Can you also get a rebate if your a Country Companies Customer $500, bringing total rebates to $4000?
Thanks again,
Alex

firerescueeric 05-29-2009, 04:59 PM I purchased my 09 G8 GT about 2 wks ago. Sticker was 33,210. and i recieved $6,000 off from the dealer...I didnt think i could pass on this...So the deals are out there...the dealer before that didnt even tell me of any rebates at all...good to shop around!!
solty 05-29-2009, 05:16 PM You know that is not going to happen. I would bet that there is hardly any margin left on this vehicle.
As it is these cars are a bargain with any discount, with or without cheap financing. Try to find that kind of package anywhere with the competition. We are turning into a society that keeps pushing prices down and down and down......and then we complain when 75% of things are made in China with no quality......we are doing this to ourselves......
ok enough wise guy talk, let's get back into the capitalist feeding franzy......when are we gona get $10,000 off and -5% financing.....come on ......I am waiting..... :drink: :oldfogey:

I agree. I always tell people to shop. No reason not to get the best deal out there.
I just hope some people still believe in the idea of getting a good deal and good service compared to just having the absolute lowest price.:driving:

I drove past a dealer with lousy customer satisfaction ratings and bought at a dealer with higher prices, less selection, and the best CS ratings in the Dayton-Cincinnati area. I haven't regretted it. I wish GM would publish the CS ratings so we knew which dealer to choose.
