Let's meet on the 16th at the Manassas Mall JC Penney parking lot at 3pm and head over to BK around 3:30. If it rains on the 16th, then we'll change it to the 23rd.

JC Penney is at the Manassas Mall off Sudley Rd. There is only one parking lot there, so you can't miss us. Take exit 47A (Sudley south) and go down about 2 miles. You'll see the mall on the right. JCP is on the back side of Target.

Don't worry...I have the same problem everytime I go to MD.

Hey Guys I may not make it this time. The wife's pretty sick and is on her way to the Dr.'s for the second time in two days to see if its the flu (lord I hope not). We should know if it is in about an hour or so. My other plan is to bring my littlest along (3years old) to get her out of the house and away from the sick one, but if its the flu I won't show in order to keep others from potentially catching it. We shall see!!!

09G8DC and I left just as the storm hit.... I'm not sure how he felt about it, but I had fun on the drive back... even though visibility at times got down to less than five feet... and a bolt hit a tree RIGHT next to me on 66 :D

Rain didnt really bother me because people were actually driving in it and not standing still. Sad thing is I jumped ahead of it by about the 123 exit. I exited at Glebe and it hadn't rained there at all. Poured for about 45 seconds by me then stopped and hasn't rained since.

I just got hit three times by the rain... leaving the meet... then at the house... then about five minutes ago. Might as well be living in the rainforest...

I skirted in and out of the leading edge most of the way back to Sterling.

Yeah, I got nailed by the storm just as I left. I was there with my camera and I didn't realize to just now that there was no memory card in it. That REALLY sucked!! I'll keep track of the weather and maybe set another meet for this coming Sat. And THIS time I'll make sure the memory card is in the cam.
