With the engine sitting further back in the engine bay, is it going to be more difficult to change out the heads and/or spark plugs?

I dont own a G8 and haven't seen one up close yet but since its RWD I cant picture it being that hard to do plugs unless the back part of the motor is under the dash or something

Plus it's not all sideways. Should be a piece of cake :)

I was watching that video of Jay Leno and on the video they state that the engine was placed further back for the 50/50 weight dist.


I just didnt know if the engine was placed like that on the Trans Am's.

The LS2 in the GTO is a piece of cake. The alternator, AC compressor and all the brackets are down underneath with the plug wires fully accessible. I assume the G8 is similar.

I hope it's easier than my Z28's were. You had to go in from the bottom for the back ones.

I haven't gotten that far along, as I've only got a little over 400 miles, but they don't look that simple.......
