I like the front end on the foreign (to me) market Commodores compared to the G8. They look just that bit more aggressive and yours is no exception. I like the wing too, hopefully that may come as an option for us Yanks later. Congrats on the car.

yeh i like the front end aswell, but i hate the wing. I want to get rid of it i think they look better without it or if it was just a little lip of the back.

chevrolet versions of the commodore sent overseas are stripped-out bargain basement models. hence why i dont like putting chev badges on them

so its kinda like putting a Daewoo badge on a Barina :D

Chevy branding... blah.

I'm still waiting to see an Australian-market Commodore converted to a G8... :)

No way i would trade my Chevy badge, i bought the car for its CHEVY engine! Mine is a Chevy and loaded with everything, even an entertainment system at da back seat..

The Chevy badges people fit over here are the ones Holden use for the Saudi exports where it is sold as a Chey Lumina.

The chev ones are good. Smaller and subtle. When you see the size of the Holden one and see that it is the same size as small dinner plate, you'll understnad why we(some) rip 'em off.

Unfortunately we are limited to choice. A few guys are attempting grille conversions but the chev ones are a 'factory' type to fit.

Sweet ride, wish we could have gotten those in the U.S. would have gave Dodge some competion for the Magnum.

For the life of me I still do not understand GM pulling the plug on Pontiac when they seemed to be going foward with so many great cars. :drink:
