: 50% Off our 1st G8 Track 2 Installation
Rob@WretchedMS 03-26-2008, 09:30 AM If you would like to be our 1st G8, we are going to have a 50% off parts and labor on one car only. This isn't going to be a first come first serve type of offer. I want someone that is active on this board, as this is a benefit for the members of this forum.
Post up or PM me a short message as to why you should be the first.

Mr. Sandog 03-26-2008, 09:40 AM Umm, location?

G8 Ray 03-26-2008, 04:56 PM We have an office in Westfield, but the drive from Indy is too far. Some lucky sob should be on this.
Rob@WretchedMS 03-26-2008, 05:15 PM What company?
Can't you work out an office 'visit'? ha
What is the Track #2 consist of? How much is the retail price? Thanks,
Rob@WretchedMS 03-26-2008, 10:36 PM Good quesiton

Parts is about $3500
Labor is about $1500 (estimated)
So you would get every bushing, spring, strut, shock, strut tower bar, link, and sway bar with PEDDERS parts, all for around $2500.
JTSnooks 03-27-2008, 12:49 PM This is an insanely good deal. These parts are freaking expensive, and installation is too. You'll never see 50% off again, I can't believe nobody's jumped on this yet.
Any chance I could disguise my GTO as a G8? :D
SparcV 03-27-2008, 12:53 PM Err... Western Mass is my old stomping grounds and I'm only an hour and a half away. I'd do it, but I don't have my car yet and I still have a few weeks before its delivered.
Rob@WretchedMS 03-27-2008, 03:00 PM We are still a couple weeks away from having parts,
LS2GTO 03-27-2008, 07:04 PM Wow that's an excellent deal to have superb handling!
I think the hard part is convincing someone with a brand new G8 with a relatively new suspension to drop another $2500+ when they have yet to full explore the current one.
I'd be all over this deal if I had a GXP G8.
Rob@WretchedMS 03-27-2008, 07:08 PM Any of us that have the GTO won't have a hard time with it, lol.
We know what a difference it makes in the car.
The people that are going in to the G8 with out having GTO experience may have a harder time, but they'll come around, I'm confident of that.
LS2GTO 03-27-2008, 07:54 PM I agree!
haddadmotorsports 03-30-2008, 11:40 PM If no one jumps on this I might have to take him up on the offer and have him finish mine for me.
Guys this stuff is really good. If you don't jump on it now you probably will later and end up paying full price too.
Don't take our word for it. Feel free to jump on www.ls1gto.com and search pedders see what we've done for those cars already.
Thanks
Mike Haddad

For Pedders, the key will be openness with facts and, if possible, have vehicles available for people to ride in/take test drives in. I have yet to hear any specs from this company on their products (sway bar diameters, spring rates, shock compression and rebound rates, etc.), or read objective qualitative or quantative reviews of changes or improvement in performance. I am going to need more than "It's great!!!" before I shell out $5,000.
JAWDRPNG8 03-31-2008, 12:35 AM IM with Sandog above here...what will the $5k in suspension do for this car? The stock suspension for like canyon carving and mts. and straights is pretty daym good in my opinion..like on just street duty...does this have any real world application or is this just for like autocrossing or drifting?? I am more of a cruiser....and the occasional stop light racer when no ones around..I guess what I am asking is what would this kit do for us who use them as daily drivers....if anything, would it help with like the 0 to 60 mph or no?
Rob@WretchedMS 03-31-2008, 07:02 AM Unfortunately some of the information that your asking for is proprietary information and is not released.
I haven't received the information on the stiffness change on the springs yet, i'm going to guess that it's about 40%-50% stiffer than OE, but that's a guess.
The OE sway bars are 23F/18R while the Pedders Bars are 26F/22R and are adjustable
Our suspension is designed for daily drivers, not racing. This doesn't mean that they don't work well in racing, as they work very well. Well enough that we do not have a racing exclusion in our warranty. There have been many GTO's that used our suspension on race cars with VERY good results over other brands.
I have our bits on my GTO and I drive 20k a year, it improves the cars handling, and is not harsh by any means.
As for would it help your 0 to 60, i'd feel comfortable saying yes. Taking up a lot of the slop in the OE bushings will help with the reaction of the car off the line, and get you moving quicker.
Read world application:
Anything that you do with your car while it's moving, you will do better with Pedders.

I did the first install of a Track system, and the changes are amazing; every bit as much change as the GTO change. so when Rob is offering a 50@ off deal so he can get trained and get one under his belt, you would be nuts not to take advantage of it

GEE ATE 04-09-2008, 11:40 PM Rob, I'm in Ludlow, Mass and just got my G8 today. Interested in the offer but would like to know how the cars handling will change with the new suspension.

Onl a few of us have had the pleasure of driving a Pedderized G8 and I am one of them. It is absolutley night and day difference. Your G8 will out handle a M seried BMW and a AMG with our complete system.
Pete just finished his G8 that he put the frist Extreme package with adjsutable coil overs. He says it is beyond amazing. He has a write up going on that you should follow

Rob@WretchedMS 04-10-2008, 04:44 AM Unfortunately Pete, Mike, Mike, and Brandon are the best ones to answer that. At this point I've seen one, but haven't sat in one, never mind driven one yet. I can only speak from experience with some of the other cars that we've done.
The ride gets a bit stiffer, but the shocks also absorb the bumps better. It's not harsh at all, just more predictable, with less sloppiness.
Rob@WretchedMS 04-11-2008, 03:57 PM Offer is still open, G8's are starting to filter in to the area, so i'd like to get one scheduled

Rob@WretchedMS 04-11-2008, 09:33 PM Track 2
G8 Ray 04-12-2008, 08:09 AM Offer still open? Do you have all needed components available?
I've decided to purchase another car as a daily driver. I'll need some time to arrange with work..etc..
Rob@WretchedMS 04-12-2008, 08:20 AM Right now, I'm just getting a car pinned down for an appointment, the parts are available, but not in stock in Westfield yet.
I'm looking at a late April/ Early May time frame.
Could you PM me your contact info and best times to call you back?
Thanks
Rob
G8 Ray 04-12-2008, 12:05 PM Pm sent.
I originally posted our office was in Westfield, it's actually in Westford. I won't have to drive as far.
Rob@WretchedMS 04-12-2008, 12:21 PM lol
G8 Ray 04-13-2008, 05:28 PM BTW, in case anyone is following, I'll be talking with Rob soon, to work out some details.
quicksilvergoat 04-13-2008, 10:32 PM For those of you who doubt the value of Pedders I will tell you that the only reason I haven't traded my GTO in on a G8 is because it is pedderized. It is worth every single penny. I hate driving cars without it.

As a general question, I have heard from some people that after market bushings (urithane) tend to squeak. Have you experienced this with any of your Pedders bushes?
Rob@WretchedMS 04-14-2008, 09:15 AM A propertly installed pedders bush will not squeak.
I have had mind for over 25k and not one noise.
G8 Ray 04-14-2008, 05:01 PM Rob, was great talking with you today. Looking forward to working with Pedders on my G8.
G8 Ray 04-19-2008, 02:28 PM Update?
Rob@WretchedMS 04-19-2008, 02:50 PM I put another message in to Jamey, if he doesn't call on Monday i'll give him a call myself.
G8 Ray 04-29-2008, 09:27 PM I think I'll drive by the dealership. See whats up.
Rob@WretchedMS 04-29-2008, 09:48 PM You will be getting a phone call tomorrow
G8 Ray 05-02-2008, 11:44 AM Just so everyone knows, my G8 will not be a part of this promotion.
So...if someone hasn't already stepped in, here's your chance.
GeorgeInNePa 05-03-2008, 01:16 PM Hmmmm, yahoo maps says you're less than 4 hours away.
You take plastic?
Rob@WretchedMS 05-03-2008, 01:55 PM I love plastic, but I have a car setup for the 50% deal already,
BUT
We are offering discounts the week of our Pedders Day event on the 18th of this month.
